As the warm embrace of autumn transforms the landscape, it’s the perfect time to slow down, reflect, and indulge in some much-needed “you time.” Nestled in the heart of the Spanish countryside, Sambana offers 400 hectares of pure serenity—think endless orange and olive groves, peaceful lakes, and a blanket of stars untouched by light pollution. It’s a place to truly disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself and the rhythms of nature.

Our days will be anchored by intuitive yoga practices, breath and journal. Allowing your practice to be an exploration—a journey unique to you, where you’ll be encouraged to nurture yourself with compassion, curiosity, and an open heart.

Retreats give us time and space to help shift our perspective, and as the shift in season encourages us to embrace stillness and reflection. Beyond the mat, there’s plenty of space for whatever your heart desires—long hikes through the countryside, curling up by the pool with a book, or simply soaking in the beauty of the moment.

This retreat is your chance to press pause and nurture yourself. Together, we’ll play, explore, and savour the slower pace of autumn.

Sophie Gordon,

Incredible chef and author of ‘The Whole Vegetable’.Sophie will be keeping us well fed and nourished throughout our stay. Think big, family style, alfresco dining using local produce from the farm and surround areas. Typically vegetarian menus and everything she makes is simply delicious.

Yoga

Always aiming to teach an inclusive class with options for all, the joy of retreats is you can deepen your physical practice so much further with these daily habits but as always there will be options for all. Classes are created to have a bit of fun on the mat whilst challenging yourself in new ways. If you’re completely new to yoga it’s recommended trying out Jess’ classes first either in studio or online, everyone is welcome!

Getting there

Sambana is located just under an hours drive from Gibraltar Airport. Flights from Gatwick to Gibraltar are currently £100 return. We can also link you together with others on the same flight to share a taxi. Alternatively, you may want to hire a car.
